This keep in the far northwest was built and is held in dubious legitimacy by the Agrikan fighting order of the Warriors of Mameka. King Chafin III relies on them—to the extent anyone in Rethem can be relied upon—to provide a check on the flank of the rebellious Earl Denyl Lynnaeus in Tormau. Bedenes guards the frontier along the Scarlet Ribbon, a trail leading to the ruined Corani Empire fort at Kustan in the Peran wild, home of the Kubora barbarians.
