Works

These pages contain information on the many modules, articles, and maps defining the world of Hârn. Links are provided for those wishing to add them to their own collections. The different series below aren't always actually marketed as such, but similar works have been grouped here in that fashion. For instance, there isn't a so-named “core” series, but some of the broad, foundational works have been assigned to one to highlight them amid the wealth of materials. Another possibility for that category could be “Hârn”, but that doesn't seem to helpful. Some works have mixed content and could arguably be assigned to a few different series.

One term in particular is used in different ways: HârnWorld. It is the name of a particular work, HârnWorld, now in its 40th Anniverary Edition. The 3rd edition was first published in 2003. The previous was the 2nd edition, and its publication implicitly back-titled its predecessor, Hârn or “Hârn Regional Module”, as “HârnWorld, 1st Edition”. However, that latter title isn't actually printed on those pages. The HârnWorld moniker is also applied to a broad range of works by Columbia Games, Inc. that detail the Hârn setting. It is used too by Keléstia Productions Ltd. for their series of setting materials. Those, as well as the articles from Columbia pertaining to lands beyond the islands of Hârn themselves, are grouped below under “Kethira works”.

Where does one begin in this overwhelming mass of stuff? These are as good a place as any.

HârnWorld Regional Map	The classic picture worth a million dreams is available as a pdf, printed, laminated, or even as a 4'× 6' vinyl banner. It also comes bundled with HârnWorld.
Keys and Legends to the Maps of HârnWorld	This is a free guide to reading all the maps in all the Columbia Games articles with them, from Atlas Hârnica to the settlement and interior maps in all the castles and keeps.
HârnWorld	The master module of the isles contains pages on the cultures, government, the nature of manors and towns, guilds, economics, religion, history, character generation, the regional map key, movement, and weather.
Hârndex	This reference work comprises brief vignettes and definitions of a broad array of Hârnic people, places, and other terms.
Hârn Heraldry Map	If one likes the Hârn Regional Map in a more poetic style, this is another alternative. The margins feature the arms of major clans.
Hârn Regional Interactive Map	Keléstia Productions redid the regional map for a more naturalistic look. The pdf version allows one to hide or show layers of different elements. An index is included.
Spines & Covers	This document provides spine and cover graphics for notebooks containing printed documents organized into different sections. The structure of the Works section was based on it. So far as I know, it has not been formally distributed but is available from a post in HârnForum, so the present editor has taken the liberty of hosting it here as well.
HârnWorld Intro	This is a brief introduction to Hârn from here at Lýthia.com, and Core Works seems as good a place to put it as any.
Hârn Introduction	Here's another good Hârn introduction, this time from The Melderyn Campaign. There's a bit of fanon to be found t that site, though much of it is hosted at Lýthia as well, and the creators' achievements are blazoned all over canon too.

Here are the rest, at least as many as have been entered into the wiki in this fashion. Some data from these works fill the other wiki sections for each kingdom, but this particular listing is of the products themselves.

Canon is published by Columbia Games, Inc. and Keléstia Productions Ltd., signified by the checkbox icon, , and marked with that icon in the right sidebars. Fanon is from anywhere else and is represented by a fan, .

These are the categories—aside from the core: works shown above—into which the available works have been organized. To link to these and pages within them, start with works: and add the values before the dashes, separated by colons, such as works:adventures:dark_rethem:.

Some works are no longer in print, though nearly all of the information has seen subsequent publication. They are cataloged here as they come up. Maybe part of your collection hasn't been included yet, and we'd love your input. They are marked with a gravestone, , in the right sidebars in the places where they have not yet been superseded.

Here are all of the individual works so far entered into the wiki in alphabetical order. Some appear multiple times as a consequence of duplicate pages under different namespaces; we still haven't found an ideal way to handle things like that.

This is mainly for the purpose of feeding the database. Well, the future database. Oh, it will be so cool. Sob.
